Coupon claritin: at first this scene wasn’t going to happen but it was necessary to better introduce one of the main supporting cast members, the lovely and talented May Toukolehto.  Originally, her character first showed up later on in the comic and her appearance was a little jarring because she basically came out of nowhere and was supposed to have some kind of impact on the audience — not gonna get that if you haven’t established this person right?  So I went back to the drawing board and created this scene to introduce “Dakota Dynamite.”

Holy crap and I almost forgot!  I’m playing myself in this scene!  Thought it would be funny cameo.  I’d like to do it more often.  It was fun.  My buddy Mark, the webmaster for this site acted as my second unit photographer for this scene.  He’s one of the only people I trust to take shots for me.  It only gets more fun from this point on!
