Act I - Page 27

So the cat’s out of the bag and if you haven’t been living under a rock for your entire life then you should have gathered by the narrator’s choice of words that Art is in fact a werewolf. That is his hidden truth…

Two things I’d like to point out real quick is that Jillian mention’s Art is reading the second “Norcross” book. This is a little throwback to a sci-fi/fantasy novel I started writing when I started back in high school. It was a planned trilogy that I never finished due to the fact that as I got older my writing style and ability got better. So as I was finishing chapters in 11th grade I would go back to the chapters I wrote back in 9th grade and get sick to my stomach! In the end I decided Norcross would be a lot more cool if it were a movie and that’s how I got into the film making gig. A second thing I’d like to point out is that Jillian mentions that the director of the Norcross movie would be the guy who directed that “Christmas zombie movie.” That’s me! Well…I hope it will be me anyway!

So I guess it’s time for me to announce that I am working on a short film this winter that is — you guessed it — a Christmas zombie movie! Wish me luck in getting it done! It’s going to be tough balancing both “Truth” AND this film project at the same time. Sure, it’ll be a short film but it’s going to be a heavy undertaking nonetheless. Right now I’m in the early planning stages for it. I’m also trying to figure a way to have Art and Jillian make a cameo appearance as themselves in the flick. Now that would be cool! :)

The Christmas Zombie movies sounds interesting. If you need any extras for dead bodies, let me know. I’m all for it!

I found you through Charlie Wyler’s FB profile where he’d posted a link showing himself cloned as MIB… I don’t usually read online comics but started at the very beginning and read straight through… your story telling and photography totally sucked me into sticking with reading the entire saga. Keep it coming and I’ll keep reading.

    Hahaha. You narcissic…
Eh. I would do the same thing in your place. Haha. Well… that movie should be interesting.
Hope you can balance them, but if you gotta take a break from this at any time, I’m an understanding fan, here. Haha. Hopefully that will never happen. Eh. But I think that a movie made by you is something to be seen.

@ Laura and Wolf: Yeah, zombie movies are always interesting! Haha! I just hope I can get something done — anything really. And Wolf, don’t worry about me taking a break from TPHT. I have an estimated 3-4 month buffer that I’m working with. All of Act I is finished with photography. TPHT is my priority so it will always come before anything else I do. Scheduling will be the only pain! Since the zombie flick is supposed to be just a short film (maybe 5-7 mins long) it shouldnt take too much time… I hope!

@ Victoria: Thanks for your nice comments! It’s a good feeling to hear people that aren’t really accustomed to web comes or even photocomics for that matter who seemed to get sucked in or enjoy reading. I really hope I can raise the bar to change people’s perceptions and expectations when it comes to the photocomic genre and in the process make a name for myself. This is a start.. :)

That’s a nice buffer there. Good planning.
…I imagine it might be easier to get a lot of pages’ worth of material done in one day as opposed to drawn webcomics where you go slower. Again, the implications of a photocomic are intersesting.

And when you do make the movie, make sure to give us here a link or something so we can see it.

Is it better than Santa Claus versus Satan? ;-)
