Poor, poor, Martha! She’s just having a crappy day isn’t she?
And this concludes the end of this scene here. I’m not sure how well the “comedic” punchline comes across in the comic with Martha being barged in on by these people only to have them leave, have another person show up, and finally get held up at gunpiont. The pacing of the live action version might have made the point come across smoother. Either way, it’s supposed to be funny.
It still makes you wonder what Dakota wants with Art so badly!!
And hold up! What’s with this “unknown dialect?” Start making your theories now… It’d actually be interesting to hear them. Makes me want to start up a forum now that I think about it. Meh, I’m too lazy/busy with Act 2 and 3, haha!

I think they’re holographic projections with a piercing static-y type of dialect. Hence the bzzz and the hurt ears.
Yes, and I found this strip awesome just because it’s a sort of:
What?
What?!
WTF!?
Type of moment sequence. I laughed and felt great when I finished it, it was just so non-sequiter and strange. Really really great. I enjoyed it a lot, just because it didn’t make sense.
(And look, next strip she wakes up or something, right? Haha.)
I’m lovin’ it, Cisco.

unknown dialect clearly a computer obscuration technique. switch phonemes, translate on other end.
I love the right angle of the gal’s eyebrow in the last panel.
and yes, Martha is hilarious!
