Yeah…today’s my birthday.  And I figured I’d celebrate it here with a silly page update.

Originally I was going to have a page where Art and Jillian were ripping on the comic as they were reading the actual printed copy that I had.  So, this past Saturday I went on ahead and shot that scene of them looking through the pages — while at the same time telling them how the week before I had secured a location for a future shoot at a comic book store that’s near my job (where we do a lot of the shooting).  So then Diana goes.; secure viagra..”why aren’t we shooting this scene there?” and I was like “OMG!”  For some reason I hadn’t thought of that — STUPID me!!  So by then it was too late to run over to the comic book store unannounced to shoot the scene.  So I put this together real quick instead!

Just to give you a little background on those two photos, I took the one of the alien on a weekend when I set it up in my bosses office to scare him when he walked in on Monday.  Fun-ny!  And the last pic was from a photoshoot this weekend.  May (who plays Dakota) threatened me at gunpoint for something — probably to get me to delete a picture of her she didn’t like.  I should do a special page where I have everyone’s worst pics displayed hahaha!  Now that’s a good idea actually…..

Oh yeah, Dark Red and Night Zero are high-caliber photocomics that I highly recommend checking out and browsing their archives.  Dark Red has your fantasy elements with a deep plot and Night Zero almost had me shitting a brick because a zombie outbreak (small scale though) was one of the first cases Art and Jillian dealt with in my episode list!  Definitely check them out, they are very entertaining.  The photocomic genre isn’t as big or as popular as I think it should be, but I want to change that — it’s one of my all-time goals.  And the best way to do that is to literally share the wealth (in this case “links”) — there’s no competition here.  The folks behind these comics obviously know what they’re doing and share the same desire to push the envelope as far as photographic storytelling goes.  Together we’ll all make a difference in the webcomic world.

So yeah, happy birthday to me lol!
