Rx-viagra
Ah rx-viagra, the biggest crux I dealt with in doing the “Friends in High Places” arc was how to go about showcasing Jillian’s astral projection ability. The more my television script had to adapt itself for a comic format I ended up having to cut out a lot of fat from the story. This storyline in this arc serves to establish characters and organizations and their relations to one another with a focus on finding out about the UFO crash from the prologue. Unfortunately, “Friends in High Places” is not a ghost story, so a lot of the mythos attached to ghosts and how they operate in my universe had to be cut and established in a future story arc.
You readers who have seen the Christmas Special — already know about Jillian’s astral projection and have an idea of how it works. Since I didn’t have a good scene early on to showcase Jillian using the ability in Act I without derailing the story I had to have the Narrator mention her ability in this conversation. That way when it shows up later on in Act 2 it won’t be too much of a surprise for the audience. I’m sure with more time to rearrange my plot I could have come up with something but I’m happy with it.
Anyone notice how I give Jillian some of the best lines?
See you next week and don’t forget to vote for a sneak peek of a scene from Act 3! Thanks!

What’s the betting that one or more of the Men in Black are waiting in the elevator/lift?

Haha. I was just going to say that.
I’m betting… er… (Looking in my wallet, I realize that the only reason I have some currency left is because it’s foreign or ornamental…) I’m betting… just betting…. that they will be there.
I can imagine exactly how Cisco will do it in his awesome cinematic style.
And I think then we might see some action.
Should be interesting to see how it’s done.
