This page cracks me up. For two reasons: First, is Art’s comment in the first panel. CLASSIC Art dialogue right there. Second, is the look on Jillian’s face in the third panel. I basically told her to start screaming about not wanting to be crazy. Wow those pics were hilarious!

In the print version of Act 2 there’s a recap page of some of the important events from Act 1. This page’s first panel also works as a recap pages as well to keep new and old readers up to speed with a condensed version the story in just one panel! I was hesitant on how it would turn out but I thought it was fine in the end.

I also got into a pretty experimental mood when I put this page together by forcing a specific word bubble flow-pattern. My main goal from the get go was to get Art’s “wait…” to be surrounded by the blackness of the empty space to capture the detached tone of his statement. It’s probably as artsy as I’ll get with word placement. Just thought yall might be interested in that little piece of information.

So I wonder what Art’s detective skills have honed in on…
