It seems strange that Art would threat like that, although I guess it may be his animal side coming out… I will miss The Pure and Hidden Truth.

Haha! I meant to talk a little bit about Art in today’s page commentary but I went on and blabbed about it being the 100th page.
Yes, here you start to see a little bit of Art’s repressed side coming out. In the TV script this scene was drawn out with a lot more tension. To the point where Reeder was being nasty with Art and Jillian and Art sticking up for Jillian. I also wanted the hairs to stick up on his skin because he sensed something was SO wrong with this place. And you’ll find out why soon enough.
The comic version definitely got short-changed a bit. And made Art seem a lot more direct than usual. He’s a complex character that’s for sure. One of my goals with this series to to travel along with him as he slowly comes out of his shell.

I know. First and foremost, I’m a bastard.
Secondly, it’s horrible news about the hiatus/break.
Thirdly, TPHT has been doing awesome. I’m glad to see you got on without my spamming your comments… (haha!) Sorry about dropping off, things got darn busy and I didn’t feel like picking things up over the break.
But, seriously, man. You’ve been doing awesomely. I really enjoyed that vampire arc… (and I actually guessed that was you under the mask before I read that it was your brother!) The Hiddenverse is really evolving and turning into something interesting, unique, and brilliant.
Keep up the great work…
Or, y’know. Good luck with future plans and that.
